师父与我 Yogi and Me

每个人都有梦想，大部分人都梦想成为百万富翁和环游世界，我何尝不是？
Everyone has their own dream, some people dream to be a millionaire and travel around the world, so am I.

但我知道天下没有白吃的午餐所以我在十七八岁还在求学时就已经在构思如何能达至我的春秋大梦，以便在最短的时间退休。
When I was 17 and 18, I started thinking and searching for many ways to be rich and plan for early retirement.

我知道唯有投资，钱赚钱才能达到这一目标所以我在中五那一年已经逐步把我微薄的储蓄投资在股票。
During Form 5, I started to venture into the stock market using all my savings as investment.

我毕业以后努力工作赚钱存钱继续投资在股票和预备投资在房地产。
After graduation, I working and continue use the income to investment on stock and get ready to investment on prorerty. After graduated from high school, I got a job but I still continued my investment in the stock market further into property investment

当我拥有了房子以后，我发觉这并不如当初设想中（自己赚来的钱花在自己身上）能带给我很大的满足感和喜悦。
I bought a house then but deep down inside I am not happy. I didn't feel the satisfaction where I always that materials things could bring happiness but I was wrong.

我发现用金钱买到的外物得到的喜悦都是很短暂地,因为喜悦短暂所以不断追求更多！
I found that material things could only bring in a short term of happiness thus I decided to get more!

我又开始计划着如何能够再拥有第二间房子！
Therefore, I planned to buy my second house!
直到我二十五岁那年因某些原因与老板闹翻，失业闲置在家，这反而让我有时间休息与思考未来的人生路如何走！
I became unemployed at the age of 25 after I fought with my boss over some issue. Then, I took my time off and rest at home doing and I started to think of my future
我发觉需要一位导师助我迎向未来，在机缘巧合下与Vita..nanda瑜伽宗师相识相知。
Finally, I thought there is a need for me to find a teacher to guide me for my future. Meantime, someone introduced me to a yogi.

为更进一步了解瑜伽人的生活方式与态度，我收拾几套衣裳就搬去与师父同住。
I later moved in to stay with the yogi as I want to learn more about being a yogi and the benefits of  yogalife.

我观察师父待人处事的态度，生活方式，如何处理日常事务与对未来的期望。
I observed the way the yogi gets along with others, their lifestyle, their daily duties and their wish for the future.

在这同时我也向师父学习灵修与养生之道。
Meantime, I learned the art of meditation and health knowledge from the yogi.

我发觉师父对生活的态度认真但悠然，而且自律。
I found that the yogi is a very self-discipline, serious person yet she managed to relax on every aspect her life.


一般人对“活在当下”这句话有误解，活在当下并不是说什么事都不做只顾吃喝玩乐或随便完成手头上的工作交差就行，做事马马虎虎只想着如何玩乐和旅行其他事都不管。
Many people get the misunderstand the meaning behind the phrase of "living in your presence". In fact, living in the presence does not mean having fun, enjoy eating, drinking and do nothing, or just casually finish your job. 

师父每天清晨5点起床练瑜伽就算周末假日也无一例外。
Yogi wakes up at 5am every morning regardless of any day even public holidays.

活在当下的意思就是珍惜每一刻，包括享受工作，认真的完成每一事务，这是对人与工作的一种尊重。
Living in your presence means you treasure and enjoy every second in what you do inclusive of your work by completing your daily duties seriously. This is the way we respect each other and our work.

活在当下是说当你有钱享受美食和旅行的时候，你也要想到当下还有很多人三餐难以温饱，缺粮等等，我们自个儿享受的同时也要想办法出钱出力帮助他们。
Living in the presence also means that if you have money to enjoy good food or a nice holiday, you should also think of many people  who do not have enough of food or necessities to live thus we need to help them.

我在与师父同住的时候看到某位高徒奉献RM2,000以供师父日常开销，师父却把当中的RM1,600捐助医院以便贫老孤小能够免费看诊。
I saw that a student sponsored RM2,000 to a yogi for her monthly expenses but the yogi donated RM1,600 to a hospital to help the poorer.
这等大爱与胸宽让小弟心生敬意，因为过去就算我有RM2,000也只是捐助RM20或RM30做个样子而已。

I really respects of  such generousity because previously if I have RM2,000, I will only donate RM20 or RM30.

没想到这世上真有好人愿意捐助大部分的收入与奉献一生的青春四处漂泊行侠仗义。
I can't believe that there is kind and good person just like the yogi who would donate and use all his time to save people.

与师父相处的那段时光也是我最贫穷的时刻，因为失业无收入,现款大部分已投资在股票还得供房子，本以为与师父同住能享受丰盛与免费餐但想到师父一个月只剩RM400伙食费我又于心不忍抢夺师父食物（当时我还是肉食动物看到师父盘中餐尽是番茄，茄子等不同蔬果也没有强烈食欲想动口），唯有变卖股票套现应急。

During my stay with the Yogi, I have no money left as my money has all gone into the material things and the stock market. First, I thought I could cut my cost of living by moving in with the yogi as I could shared food with them but later I found out that yogi only spent RM400 to buy food. Not only that, they just have tomato, vegetables and fruits in their kitchen which was not my kind of food as I am a meat person. Later, I have no choice but to sell all my stocks to cash in order for me to buy food.


本想说股票藏个八年十年必定增值，但当下唯有这么做。
I thought I could keep my stocks for another 8 to 10 years in hope of the value would increase but seems like I left have no choice.

人生就是这样，你不知道接下来会发生什么事，你可以说人生苦短和恐怖但转个念你可以说人生充满乐趣与考验，这就是人生精彩之处。
Perhaps this is what we called life, you wouldn't know what will happen in next seconds. You can said that life is short, bitter and scary but if your mind turn to positive thinking, you can said that life is funny and full of challenges, this is why it is so meaningful.

师父与我这一贫如洗的家伙就此相依为命只差没有一条内裤两人穿。
The Yogi and me were two poor people staying together the only thing we didn't share is underwear.
